THE FRAGRANCE
The stroke of midnight struck but no one paid attention. In each of the living rooms, conversations were flowing. We were talking about a new wave, abstract painting and a new novel. To the refinement of the ideas was added that of the decorations. In the ebony living room, a jazz singer. The warmth of her voice mingled with that of her perfume: vanilla, which she wore on her skin.
